Their friendship helped them become one of the best defensive wall in the world.
We celebrated this duo by creating the first complementary pair of football cleats.
Each player's cleats are a one-of-a-kind that represent who they are, but next to each other they form an another whole.
We asked them how would they define each other. David thinks Thiago is calm and unmovable like a polar bear. Thiago thinks David is crazier, takes more risk, isn't scared of attacking while still being agressive just like a lion.
They're the Yin and the Yang, the ice and the fire.
Each shoe has a hint of the other player, showing graphically how they both connect and how being complementary made them one of the best pair of defenders in the world.
